The latest release: IFF SDK Version 2.3 Mantis

Last week, MRTech released version 2.3 of its flagship product IFF SDK. We have added a new component to the SDK that merges several inputs into one output by placing incoming images with matching timestamps side-by-side horizontally. This functionality is essential for certain stereo vision applications in fields of entertainment, robotics, and medicine.
Interestingly, while we were building and testing the final SDK package last Friday, a praying mantis visited our lab (see photo) and volunteered to be the mascot for the new release. Praying mantises are well known for their stereoscopic vision, so we couldn’t say no.
Alongside the introduction of the merger component, IFF SDK Mantis release also simplifies and expands the capabilities for processing color images.
